The studio

One maker, three ways in.

Artistry Maker Studio is a small workshop built on one idea: make fewer things, finish them properly, and let the work carry an edge you can actually see.
The studio started at a single bench with a hand-me-down set of files and a stubborn dislike of anything finished halfway. The first piece sold was a brushed-steel sign for a friend's shop. The second was the same sign, for someone who saw the first.
Twelve years on, that's still how it works. Most jobs arrive because someone saw the last one. The bench has grown, but the rule hasn't: every piece is made by hand and checked before it leaves.
Along the way the studio split naturally into three tracks. People wanted to buy finished pieces, so there's a shop. People wanted to learn the finishes, so there are courses. And people kept arriving with one-off briefs, so commissions became their own thing. Same hands behind all three.
The look comes from the materials — brushed metal, blacked edges, and a single line of blue light that shows up in nearly everything. It's on the logo for a reason.
What the studio runs on

Four things we don't bend on.

/ 01

Finish over volume

Fewer pieces, each one properly resolved. If it can't be finished to standard, it doesn't ship.
/ 02

Honest timelines

Made-to-order takes time. We quote real lead times and tell you the moment anything moves
/ 03

Real materials

Steel, aluminium, resin, archival paper. What's on the label is what arrives — no shortcuts.
/ 04

Plain talk

Clear scopes, clear prices, buttons that say what they do. No jargon between you and the work.
